Day & Night Shift Outside Machinist. Candiidate must have 4 years minimum Experience knowledgable in shaft alignment, repair and rebuild pumps, motors, and valves.
The machinist must have their own tools.

The position could become permanent.
Installs, aligns, and repairs ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers and micrometers. lays out passage holes on bulkheads, decks, and other surfaces for connection such as shafting and steam lines. Align reduction gears, bearing, shafting, propellers, and rudder and steering engine assemblies. Experience at least 4 years for 1st class.
